The OC Register captured what our family has learned the hard way: there is room for more life, even in the hard—and it’s meant to be claimed. Kennedy lives with SMA, and yet with planning (and a little holy stubbornness) we keep choosing joy, community, and adventure. At TEDx Temecula’s “Disrupt,” she became—so far as we know—the first person to give a TEDx talk with an Eyegaze speech-generating device. I shared why I built the Flourish Method: to help parents move from white-knuckle survival to peace, power, and possibility right where they are. Safety matters. So does living.
